Well, made it out to the shop and pinned the TI. I picked up a foot long of railroad iron the other day at work and decided to use it for pinning. Works great! I used triple washers as you can see...

I will be willing that Dan didn't intend on this happening to his prized razors, but when duty calls you can't worry about the small stuff.

This tuesday or wednesday I plan on finishing the TI, getting it shave ready, and sending it to our veteran Dan

I'll get it pinned in a few days. Anyone know what the scales finish coat is made of? I'm going to try to get that blue dye from the leather pouch out of them.
