I could have cut down the amount the circles and x strokes considerably had I used more pressure but I really but like doing that, getting rid of the scratches afterward is a bigger headache for me....

The Joseph Rodgers is done, the following is the procedure I used:

I lapped the 4K with a DMT 325, cleaned the hone off and raised some slurry with the same DMT.

I did 40 lite pressure circles...

On the 4K, "it is what it is," while on the 8K you have to think outside the box a little bit because that is your finisher. On the Joseph Rodgers I sort of took it out there, report coming soon.

I'm going with a CMon Diamond (full hollow) and a Joseph Rogers (half hollow.) I think this is going to be an excellent exercise. Like one stone honing, I think it helps refine honing technique.
