As long as the blade stays safe, I'd say leave it...
As long as the blade stays safe, I'd say leave it as is. It will be interesting to see how the glue alone holds up over time. You can always go in and fix it when/if the glue gives out.

Do you have to be a bit more careful when seating the blade that it doesn't nick the scales??
