The people who were in Texas at Charlie's meet this year have seen me forge damascus for a full day, using a sledgehammer, powered by nothing but vast quentities of bacon and some eggs. :D

Forging a wootz ingot
I finally got to use my hammer to forge half a wootz ingot into a bar. If I had had to do it by hand, that would have take a full afternoon.
