No actual pattern in the steel, but it does have the fancy scroll work acid etching with the words Fine India Steel on it. It didn't show well in the photo, what your seeing is some of the swirls....

Not on the same order of magnitude as Undream finding an Escher for 7 bucks, but not bad at all! Stopped by the local flea (tiny, only 20 vendors) to visit the old tool guy looking for a pair...
