royal blue is all that is on it,.. It is supposed to be very old any markings on the blade (if ever present) are gone,

A buddy of mine just gave me the straight razor his uncle used. (who died 40yrs or so ago).

The only marking is "Royal Blue" on the tang. I think the scales are bakelite in a light yellow.
