What I meant was adding a third magnet in place of the washer on the pin would pull the tang tight to the side of the scale while the razor is open one would help keep it lined up while closing it....

Brilliant I love how it looks like a folding razor from one side then Surprize its a fixed blade.

I wunder if it would be posable to make a magnetic washer instead of the brass one it might help...
