Now that you mention it, this is not the only W&B I've seen with this issue. Two of the other three W&B's I have are also slightly wider at the toe than the heel. I wonder if this was a design...

Came across this little beauty at a local flea market. The horn scales were destroyed by worms and were broken but the blade looks to be in pretty good condition despite quite a bit of surface rust....
