This one was done on a 6" wheel, and I feel this is about the best size for this width. I haven't ground too many blades yet, but I liked the 8" best for 8/8 razors, and 6" for 6-7/8 razors.

I tried my hand at a western grind kamisori recently, here is the outcome :)

Steel is O1 at 60-61HRC, grind is quater hollow, and the wrapping is orange waxed cord, with some epoxi glue...
