Just expect it to moult more than a mongrel dog. It's good enough to get you out of trouble, but you'll be wanting to get a better one as soon as you can afford it.

Nothing wrong with using a pre-shave oil, but I would try it without the oil as well. I'm one for simplicity myself. I don't use and oil, but if you enjoy it, why change?!
That shave soap looks...

The only balloon I practiced on was my face :). Welcome sharpy, if you're near Brighton give me a holler. Be glad to help however I can.
