Someone had mentioned to me it looks like a queer creek hone. Any thoughts ?

I have a guy that likes to send me wedges to hone. This could be just the ticket to setting the bevels on them.

I did a quick bevel check with this hone. Dulled a razor on glass then honed with oil. The hone was soaking up the oil, she sure is thirsty. Checked with a loupe and all looked good. Shaved arm hair,...

Of course I'm not 100% sure of the type (brand) of hone this is. It did not come in a box.
