yes they do look a like. the AJ DT is darker but a little softer the I.J DT is lighter in color but harder.

i have compared the two stones . the one from AJ and the one from I.J i liked the one from I.J a bit more i could get sharper edges off of that stone the one from AJ was a bit more comfortable shave...
