Otay. Here I brought in my old FBU. Not the biggest, a bit over an inch total. Has some even honewear approaching moderate. The scales were on it as I received, yet the top was pinned with a nail.......

Amen to that, Phrank! It seems W&B razors had a pecking order as to the steel.

The good ones are so much better! JMO.

Well, if it was cut right across the notch at a slant it might still be centered well.
I have had many modded hollow-ground FBU's through my hands. I just don't think it is in it's original form...

I will drag mine in to-morrow and we shall measure...
