Ya, Popping-off the bone wedge spacer and making one could be a way to go.
I was into the scale as I got them tapered like I wanted. Still the same material, so worked out great. Depends?

Yes! And the spacer at the wedge end is not wedge-shaped. Therefore a different kind of 'spacer'.....As it were!

You will find that it is glued together at the bottom. Some prayer and a twist of a screwdriver will get them apart! :angel:
