That is a very early Torrey with Mr Turner's signature all over it.
You can see it says 'Manufacturers of razors & strops' on the tang.

Prior to these early ones, Torrey was strictly a strop...

I think it just may be tarnish. Enough silver content and the right environment will do that over time. JMO

I have discovered Torrey razors as well! Great steel! Here is my Torrey "Ear of Corn" Celebrated and my Torrey "Swedish Razor"! :)
