Thanks! I have a couple that I may want to fill the maker stamp as it was originally but I never knew how. I'll give this a shot if I think it is deep enough.

Out of curiosity, had you decided to fill in the manufacturer stamp (Cherunker) with enamel, would you have used the same technique?

That is absolutely an insane restoration. The red (enamel?) was a perfect choice and really brings some extra life into the blade
