    Default 6/8 "Cherunker" Germany

This razor was in quite poor condition.. One of the reasons, is that the BOX that this razor was stored in was celluloid. The patterns on the blade suggested the box was causing the rust, not the scales. Thats what I'm hoping anyway (I've seen a lot of cell rot before, so, its a calculated hope..). I will suggest the owner keep the blade oiled, stored out in the open, and away from other razors just in case though! I believe it to be the only razor he owns, so, as long as he keeps it oiled, I think he'll be ok.

As I was evaluating whether or not the razor was worth saving, I noticed red paint flecks in the stamped spine and tang logo. I assume that the razor originally was painted/enameled red. Hopefully...the owner doesn't mind what I decided to do.. I didn't even ask him

I doubt the owner will be upset with that. Great job!

My jaw just dropped a bit. Great work and I'm sure the owner will be more than satisfied.

    Thumbs up

How do you do that ?? I mean bring a blade from the realm of the dead to that of the living? I cannot believe the transformation. Especially the colors on the spine and scales

    Very nice job Brad
