    Wow, Brad. Just amazing work. It takes a special eye to see the "there used to be paint under there, and I will pay homage to that by doing this." Great talent, man. I'm sure the owner will be thrilled.

    Really nice restoration ! I hope the scales are not a problem in future.
    Just a heads up . Oil will not stop cell rot as it is the release of nitric acid that causes the corrosion as opposed to moisture which oil can of course protect against.
    The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.
