    resin stabilizing will not prevent checking in...

    resin stabilizing will not prevent checking in woods that have a high moisture content,the process will not remove water.
    This was Kiln dried material.Was stabilized for the color.

    some neat wood

    New to me. Mexican Chakte Koc,Easy turning,has to be Resin stabilized to retain the bright red colors.
    The base of the brush is Chakte.
