I think the seller is using 8/8 as a generic term,if it is true to form it was a 10/8 blade when made,mine is.

I don't think that blade has been re-ground,It may be a tad more muted than mine (maybe) hard to tell.
That could be just from honing.

Mine at 10/8 (not from the bay) since re-scaled in Ivory.They are a joy to shave with but a Bi$$tch to strop.
