Behemoth!
I was looking on this big oversized Joseph Rogers from the moment it was listed, it jumped to the current price in less that 3 hours!
Big Early Joseph Rodgers Sons Sheffield 8 8 Straight Razor | eBay
This bastard is of the biggest ones I've ever seen.
I won't even think trying my luck with this one as long as I want a warm place to rest my head beside my woman.

You have to consider your priorities. When you walk down the street how many women do you see? Now look around that same street and how many 8/8 razors do you see? Now do the math . . . . . . . . .

FYI that joe Rogers on the bay was reground at the tip, it's rather obvious. The tip was prob chipped at one time and some one shortened. Of course value is in the hand of those bidding but for me this on is a pass at almost any cost. YMMV, but I for one am not in the biz of paying over top dollar for a blade thy was damaged and then shortened......

This is 10/8 not 8/8, right? He questions the 8/8 but measures the blade at 1 1/4".

Thanked: 2027Last one on the bay sold for north of 600.I had mine pro honed,The pro who did mine has done several of them in the past and warned me that they sometimes will not take and hold an edge (mine was the only one he was able to get a graet edge on) holds an edge with the best of them.
His thoughts were that they may have had tempering issues because of the size.
