Toonboog, go for it. You can't hurt the razor. If you have several in your rotation, take one that is perhaps your least favorite and/or most beat up and give it whirl.

I dulled the edge on my DD Satinedge yesterday on a glass and then honed. This morning was my test shave.
It was a beautiful, smooth, gliding shave. Lathered twice and it was the proverbial smooth...
