oh I won't use polishing compounds, just go up to about 2500 sandpaper and then oil them. I know they won't be extremely vibrant like yours but I at least hope the wavy effect is pronounced.

I am working on three sets of curly maple scales, I hope I can get them to turn out as vibrant as yours!
