Just thought id update where the scales are at right now. I've pinned one side, sanded down the wedge and I've given it 3 coats of Swedish oil. Enjoy :)

Wow, it always amazes me how generous everybody is on srp. I would definitely take one of you up in your offer, but I already drilled the holes to 1/8, which fits the sleeve of the aluminum rivets...

Don't worry, I will :). I'm planning on making the wedge and pinning it in a couple days. The blade is an old J Wiss and Sons.
