Just thought id update where the scales are at...
Just thought id update where the scales are at right now. I've pinned one side, sanded down the wedge and I've given it 3 coats of Swedish oil. Enjoy :)

Wow, it always amazes me how generous everybody is on srp. I would definitely take one of you up in your offer, but I already drilled the holes to 1/8, which fits the sleeve of the aluminum rivets...

My first set of scales (walnut)
Here is my first set of scales. I did a rough cut with a band saw, then did all the rest of the shaping and polishing by hand. I have no access to pins so I'm going to try and make some out of some...
