I got a nick the other day, nothing worth getting out the styptic about. It all comes with the territory of SR shaving. Take it in stride.

If I shave off my goatee, I would probably shave my upper lip and around my chin with a DE and do everything else with the SR.

Perhaps the jazz music distracted you. Maybe you could turn down the music when working around your chin and nose, use short and slow strokes in those areas until you become more comfortable and...
