Those most likely date to between 1805 and 1820.

The history back that far is murky, but it looks like it became Greaves & Sons in 1807, so the 'W. Greaves' razors are quite early.

Greaves made a ton of that model of razor. I've seen many, many of them, but few that nicely preserved.

They're wonderful razors.

It's my favorite period of their production. :beer2:

Yes indeed! It's always surprising to me how many of these turn up considering they were made in 1830. It continues to be one of my favorite razors.

Yours is in especially good condition.
