As long as you use the pro guard blade I see no problem as a new comer to this style of shaving, then eventually give the feather Pro blade a go.

The Feather lite blades IMO are not worth buying...

I use the AC - SS, and i would say your number...
I use the AC - SS, and i would say your number one priority regarding the shave would be and should be lightness of touch, those blades are so sharp you need to use as little pressure as possible.
