That's what I use, use it for almost all my stones.

I use a course DMT for all of mine, they are apparently 325 gritt but after a few Lapps they feel more like 600. I've had mine for years now, it's missing some diamonds in spots but still works.

I would says it's too corse and I wouldn't be using it on my stones. I would probably use 600 grit sandpaper on glass if I didn't have a DMT.
