If VMA used German steel for their blades it is highly possible they used german stone as well.

LI is a finishing stone for sure as with any natural stone you have to take the time to test it out and figure how to get the best from the stone.

Probably some slate, dragon's tongue, yellow lake,something like that,definately worth it for sure, i use a yellow lake as a pre finisher, good find!!

vintage thuringian are truly the most consistent stone for razors imo!!
