So, are they finer? Softer? Have you shaved after honing on them, how are they compared to the idwal? The middle one looks like a slate type, not like the idwals, but I guess I'm wrong.

And I thought this thread was about Charnleys vs idwals for honing :p Are the 2nd and 3rd stones fine like a charnley? If the answer is yes, the name doesn't matter, they are great finishing hones....
