Just a quick update on the Koopman.

This is what it looks like now with and without the flash on after sanding it with 150, 180, 240, 320, 40 & 600. Still have 800, 1000, 1500 and 2000 to go. ...

Good idea on keeping the washers. I might try that myself and just put the same scales back on it so i get the experience.

Ok, I bought it figuring I'll use it to learn restoration since there is no blade etch or gold wash etc... It says 1 1/4 on the back of the tang, but i measure it an 8/8.
