Looked more closely at the stamp on the tang and...
Looked more closely at the stamp on the tang and you can see it says "sons" you can barely see it but theres definitely a faint S at the beginning.
and about it looking like it would be too long... -

I was thinking it was a sheffield with that spine profile. the blade is VERY close to the bottom of the scales.
I don't like the idea of a franken-razor, I may make a set of scales for this blade... -

What blade is in these Beau Brummel scales?
I was 90% sure this wasnt a BB when I bid on it, but I knew it was big and in decent shape. Now the question is, what is this razor?
The blade is 8/8 at the toe down to 7/8 at the heel with a sway...
