I finally finished this 7/8" ish W&B. I've had to for close to 2 years now and with the help and direction of Mcbladescar (Mike) I was able to finish this yesterday. First time I've ever made scales...

Little update on my Fred Reynolds. Mirror polish/leather scales all cleaned up. This one wasn't so bad but a lot of deep scratches on the front that i sanded out. Just going to repin and hone it now....

Thanks Andrew I'll take any advice I can get. I haven't honed a full on wedge like this. I'm not sure what material the scales are I'm think celluloid or some Bakelite material?
Want to preserve it...

First time I've seen the maker myself. Would also enjoy some info.

As for the etch I think I'll just tape it off and do my normal progression of cleaning and polishing on the rest of the blade...

Just picked up this Christopher Johnson & Co. full wedge Sheffield. Just going to give it a light cleaning and leave it as is as not to lose the Masonic? Etching.
