There's about 8 kitchen knives on my workbench, needing HT. And there are 3 HTed and tempered razors waiting to be ground.
1 special project razor waiting for scales. And some half finished fruit knives.Til shade is gone, til water is gone, Into the shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath.

Putting the finishing touches on a pair of custom monogrammed aluminum scaled Robeson 1545's that I picked up cheap.
The easy road is rarely rewarding.

Been working on 3 razors for new scales. 1 finished, 2 to go.
Been working on my first "file" Kamisori style razor:
And been working on making myself a 2x72 beltgrinder.
Some nice steel for the frame
And today I got my 8" contactwheel
Been working on this thing so time to upgrade a little
So pretty busy at the moment you might say.

Thanked: 2284Just got done buying some material to put together 2 razors I've had sitting here for a while. One is a 7/8 Crown & Sword ERN and the other is a 13/16 Frederick Reynolds, faux frameback. I really want to get these two shaving. I get antsy just looking at them. I Purchased some Buckeye burl for the FR scales, along with some Baltic amber to make a wedge from. The ERN will be getting some light cream colored Micarta, and I'm going to try my hand at making a Jade wedge for it. Should be a nice challenge for both.
P.S.
Barberologist, Timberland pro work boots are the only boots I wear anymore. They're just so comfy and last forever!!!Last edited by HARRYWALLY; 01-05-2014 at 01:32 AM.

Working on my first restore at the moment, it's a F. Reynolds wedge that I cleaned up, and I'm working on the scales now, g-10 and recon stone. I had a question, what do you use to polish up g-10 after sanding? Which compounds or polishes work best either by hand or by Dremel? Thanks!
