    I really like where that one is going Bruno. Just got in a set of smaller wheels and attachment for my tooling arm for my grinder from the seller vwjackstraw on the bay and need to try them out myself:
    .50" = 1/2"
    .625"= 5/8"
    .750"= 3/4"
    .875"= 7/8
    1.0" = 1"

    Where do you ever find all these beautiful razors?!

    The blade was a gift of a friend, the scales are made from precious vintage worked MOP (that can be - hardly - found from time to time for who is willing to pay for it).

    The overall work was a prepaid order from another friend.

    Nice hammer work. How do you plan to treat/clean up the forge finished surfaces? Wire brush to get rid of the "loose" forge scale, etch or something else?

    It'll end up just shy of 10/8, and was forged to finish. It will retain the hammer finish surface. It is the first time I tried hammering out this design to finish. I think it went well. The only grinding will be the blade hollows and the point of course. This is SC145 steel, and will be differentially heat treated to feature a hamon.

    Most of it will blow off during heat treatment. The rest is cleaned up with 240 grit greaseless compound.

    I received 7 razors in for clean up and honing. While on 'this one' all I did was polish up the scales for the owner, I thought that I'd post his very nice razor. He's come a long way with his purchasing as his first blade was a W&B who's blade was like Swiss Cheese! No Kidding!

    Anyway here's some quick pics of his razor. After my granddaughter's softball game this morning I'll see how it hones up
