Over the last couple months or so I did get these scaled and shaving. Same blank size but differing grinds and pin locations. Cost me some time as I thought I had a pair (razors)! A difference of almost a ¼" in scale length. Two KROPP's 8/8ths and a Kabeso 7/8ths. Aluminum on the Kabeso and and celluloid scales on the KROPP's

Challenge Cutlery Hollow Ground Square Point Razor - Bridgeport CT.
The shiny pics are not the end result. That is after progessing from 220 through 800 grit W/D paper. Still have 1k and 2k paper to use on it. There will be some indication of age left, but she will be shiny and bright. Then I get to try and put an edge on her.Last edited by Orville; 05-03-2015 at 08:13 PM.

working on a couple of my "biggins." i dont have newer pics of the current ones im doing but this recent one showssome of the details. ill do a separate post to show some other steps but here is after a bevel setting of the 9/8 near wedge blade

Got a few ready to go out for heat treat. A 15/16" square point, a 7/8" French point western kamisori, and a wee kamisori.

Currently on finals, but here are some projects ongoing that should finalize this summer :
And customed scales "old style"
Pinned (and not glued) on G10 (way lighter than brass and even aluminum) with silver nails.
