Thread: What are you working on?

I am working on my second straight razor to date. First one I had to send to get honed, I had my first shave with my razor the other day and it worked great. Honed it myself. Now for some scales.

Gotta final grind & handle 5 knives.

Ordered some expensive stuff today, but fun nonetheless

Dutchi 230v, 1440rpm 3 fase, 1HP engine.




Have been communicating with the dealer of the engine a lot and we came to the same conclusion that this would be sufficient for my needs. These industrial engines are powerful enough for the manner that I work in, and I can't stop it on a normal grinding so plenty of power for my use.


A frequencything to regulate the RPM's from 0 to 3000RPM

Neat, do you have 3 phase electrical?

No, 1 phase, but the regulator has 230v 1 phase in, and gives 230v 3phase out from 0 to 120Hz

Yep, my grinder does the same...single phase in, three phase output

Not much,just a simple brush handle,right to left,left to right,white streaked buff horn,desert ram horn spacer,Ivory spacer,desert ram spacer,More Buff.
