Here is what happens if you do not work and ... if you do not respect the manufacturer's advice. I kept the resin in the balcony in the sun, over 30 degrees Celsius.
Can it be re-used? I'll try an epoxy mix.

Great work Tom. Isn't it fun?

Lots of good work here. I know I have one of those brushes somewhere's but all I could find was this one................

Then I set it down & it just came apart by itself. This one looks like it screws on but I know that other one isn't.
Wow, Steve! That is an awesome handle!

Thanks for reminding me Richard. I usually try to do that but forgot.

The blade looks to be in great shape. Neat razor, what will the new scales be?

This is them shown, semi transluscent brown horn. There is some really neat internal pattern that is difficult to see but up close, very nice.
Just need a brass wedge and re-pin with stacked washers.

Yeah, sometimes it's hard to see the natural pattern in some horn scales. Very nice razor.

Very nice indeed. I'm glad those are the scales, I was thinking you were a bit crazy for wanting to change them! That razor would look nice in http://straightrazorpalace.com/razor...mbnotches.html

Thanks Tom. Awhile back there was a guy on the bay selling some of his collection & he had some really nice old brushes. I contacted him after I bought a brush from him & we hooked up on FB. From then on, he would send me a message about any others he was selling. He would make me some good deals.
That was a good job you did on that Prius. If that's what you do for a living & you were talking book time, you must be working flat rate which is how I was working at the very last few places I worked. A good tech can beat flat rate most of the time but there will be some every once in a while where you have to eat some time but you learn things as you go sometimes if you didn't already know it. For those you who do not know what flat rate is, it's commission only.
