I kinda figured it would act about the same as my PRC being as it is pretty similar in look. After seeing your pic again I am excited to get a bevel on it, get that contrast on both spine and edge.
Heck yea Mike, how did you create that?Nothing is fool proof, to a sufficiently talented fool...

4 at once
Recently acquired 4 blades from ebay that are all in progress simultaneously.
Craftsman:
Upon arrival
After some MAAS
You can still see the original grinder marks on the blade, it almost looks unused!
Black Steel:
Upon arrival
After some hand sanding and MAAS
ERN:
Upon Arrival
After hand sanding 1500-12000 and MAAS
Henry Martin Hamburg
Upon arrival
After rust removal, hand sanding 400-1500, and dremel cutting toe
I have another thread going on this one here
The Craftsman is going to be a gift for my dad, along with a big badger brush I made a while ago, it will be his first straight. I'm planning on scales in figured walnut, maybe with a maple wedge.
I haven't really made any decisions on the other 3 blades yet. I may keep them, or sell them, or give them as gifts, or one of each, I'll see how I feel as I finish each one.

A quick clean with metal polish, should do.
Then hone and shave..!!
Ya got some easy ones, The Inox is stainless, and I'm not seeing any serious rust on the other two.
No need for sanding, or anything crazy. JMHOMike

Thanked: 4826It's easy to jump in too far. Start slow and easy. The Parker looks like it could use some WD-40 and some 0000 steel wool. The others look like just some polish. Once you get any rust and gunk gone you will be able to see if any or how deep the corrosion may have left pits. Then decide how bad you want to get rid of the pitting. On full hollows you cannot remove much metal before you begin to compromise the blade.

If you remember, I got this Henckel about a month ago. The scales had shrunk and the blade would not close without hitting the wedge. It was NOS and still in original box. Never been honed till I got a hold of it. I put out a request for some Henckel scales as with it being NOS I wanted to keep it as original as could be. I got a reply from RezDog and he dropped some scales in the mail. I got them today. There was a little grind marks on the scales at the pivot end from removal but not bad so I took some W/D paper to them and some polish and they turned out cleaned and looking nice. After pinning with dual washers in Brass I got it honed up. It didn't take much as the bevel is so tiny and that's with one piece of tape.
7/8 and I think its Half Hollow but could use some help with that. With being 7/8 the thin part of the blade is long but it looks like Half way down the blade so...??? Comments on the grind?
Here's some pics. I'll give it a shave tonight but I feel pretty good about it. Thanks to RezDog (Shaun) for the help of the scales and for being a good friend and member here on SRP!
My pinning is getting so much better now days. I'm very happy with the way it came out. If I was to change anything it would be that I should have pinned with silver pins as they would have matched the Twins Emblem on the scales better. Guess I got to excited to think about that. Thanked: 4826I think half hollow is a good description. Looking good too. You just might get hooked on Henckels. It is a little more expensive than hooked on phonics but you will be much happier.

That and Bokers. Cant make up my mind so I'll just collect one of each till I got them all. Ha. Thanks Rez.
That was today's project being my Sunday. Yesterday I spent the day installing this...
I said last week I bought the wife a Gas Range. Well, It showed up yesterday. There was a tiny electric drop-in range in the hole so I had to cut cabinets to make it fit. Run the gas line and a dedicated AC outlet with GFI. The wife is so much happier about her Range now. She don't cook a lot but I got a feeling that will change soon. She keeps going in the kitchen just to stand there and stair at it.
If the wife is happy then my life is better for sure. Now before anyone says I can now buy a bunch of razors, I did that a couple months ago. Project razors so this was her turn. And for the contractors in the group, My son is a Licenced Union Electrician and I used to to Gas/plumbing years ago when I was young so I knew what I was doing/getting into. Went with CSST to make it much easier. And yes, Its Bonded! It's just Sharpening, right?

The Henckels is pretty much done just gotta wait for the scale material to come in, and the Parker had some scratches all over from what looks like someone trying to clean it up so started with steel wool and wd40 but the parker is going to need to see sandpaper and I don't have a buffer so I can already feel the tendentious. lol
