I use a shave scuttle...smear about an almond sized portion in the bowl. Using a damp brush, start making lather. You could dip a moistened brush in the container and pick up a little for face...

So far...it works just fine. Great lather + great cleanup. Have not noticed any issues.

No worries - it's a peppery kind of spice. I believe used in Jamacian cooking, and smells like clove/cinnamon/nutmeg.

The Sagebrush is a nice sage, cedar, rosemary fragrance. Spice is not like "Old Spice" - it's like "Allspice!" - clove, cinnamon, etc.
