To straighten it you wrap the scales in aluminum and carefully heat it up on the non showing side with a clothing iron ... You'll feel it get very bendy and hot... It's noticeable when it gets to...

I just got a Bismarck and I would say that it looks cheaply made.. Blade shape is beautiful but the scales made of pearlex looks like cheap plastic and the pinning is god awful finally the etching on...

So I couldn't resist and decided to try rescaling without using my right hand (i have a recurring case of "trigger finger" from years of abuse from playing instruments)... I taped up my index finger...
