I was careful, not to try and catch it when it fell. I could have, and started to, but held off.

It's a very nice blade and nice scales before they were broken. Looks like I'll have to have some more made soon. It's too nice a blade to just give up on.

So I managed to drop it last night and broke one scale off at the pivot. Couldn't even find the broken piece, and dinged the blade up a little bit too. Dammit!
