Yea, the the 1918 appears to be etched the same way but it is done in a more sloppy manner than the rest. I still think that was an add on at a later date because of that.

Nice cache of M&D razors. Sorry I don't have any more info on them. They could have been WWI issue, who knows, or just store bought. The 1918 seems to have been added later as the engraving looks...

Thanks, at one time a cast brass, I think it was, beaver on a log was at the top of mast on Canadian naval ships. They seemed to have disappeared over the years somehow. I wonder why?

Thanks and yea the condition and the fact that it was Canada related made me jump on it when I saw it at auction. Bonus is that it shaves nicely to boot.
