I have a Peerless also that used to be my Father in Law's. When I first used it I thought he was trying to get revenge from beyond the grave. ;) It did turn out to be a nice shaver in the end though....

Oh yes it is very hollow ground. I think I have a couple of other Sheffie made razors that are that hollow also. I was wondering if it could even be from the post WWII era?

Local find today. Just set a bevel on a 1K Naniwa to take the horrendous dings out of the edge. Even after the IK honing it is an 11/16 blade. Still needs to have small rust spots remove...
