Thanks gents, I guess then it is worth saving. I don't know if I will clean it up much more than it is and just get it honed by an expert. I want to keep the stamping and don't want to polish it out....

Well, at least the blade. Picked this up yesterday as I thought the blade was worth saving even though the replacement scales were total garbage. Chucked the scales and cleaned up the blade a little....
