I agree with Ed. Just use it and over time I bet it's shape will come back.

I've been trying for years to get rid of my cow lick. Maybe try spit???? That's what my Mom always did.

I would try letting it soak in hot tap water for a half hour or so, and then somehow put a form on it until it drys. A couple elastic bands might do the trick???
