It's a good idea to use the 24 hour, good call. Creates a stronger bond. It's really looking good so far. Are you sure you don't want to set it down deeper though. From the pics, the loft looks high....

Naaah. Just use a good 2 part epoxy, and once you set it, leave it and don't touch.
