I did however leave the resin that I poured into the handle down from the threads incase anyone in the future wants to try their grip.

Never got this one in the OP loose. Just cut the hairs down and went at it with a drill.

Totally agree. I had always thought it was a bigger handle too. It's smaller than you think, but it's a great handle.

There's a few companies doing replicas of this handle now, and doing a good...
