The 1k should just b splash and go..Haven't heard anybody soaking the 1k.. if its thirsty it will slow down with use. Keep spraying it heavy water until it stays wet then hone

i have all choseras.. 1,3,5,k and at one point a 600 grit. The only one i had any problems with was the 600. All the others are great.. just let them dry naturally. and you shouldnt have any...
