13 sheets that size sample colors

Are 4inch by 8 inch sheets 1/8 inch thick good!! Saw sample sheets at eplastics.com for 13.00

I'm worried about the thickness how thick does a scale have to b and without a lot of woodworking tools how would I get them to the width?? That's my problem I don't wanna spend serious cash on power...

Looks like to much for me, i dont have the tools or the time.. ill stick to light restores repinning and polishing heavy work will b sent out!! Lol

Anybody know where i can get wood or acrylic for scales? Im gonna try it..
